React Developer

Role Overview

We are looking for a skilled React Developer to join our product development team, which is building a complex and scalable system for the sports betting industry.

This is a mid-level role.

The successful React Developer will have a technical background, strong proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML and CSS, experience with React and Redux, familiarity with RESTful APIs and experience with PostgreSQL.

It would be nice to have:

  • Experience with Apache Kafka
  • Experience with AWS
  • Experience with source code management tools such as Git
  • Experience in the Sports Betting Industry
  • Familiarity with Unix or Linux environments

This is a hybrid role and some office attendance will be expected for meetings, while daily work can be carried from home most of the time.

Main Responsibilities

  • Meeting with the development team to discuss user interface ideas and applications.
  • Developing and implementing highly-responsive user interface components using React.
  • Building reusable components and front-end libraries for future use.
  • Monitoring and improving front-end performance.
  • Documenting application changes and developing updates.

Key Skills / Qualifications

  • A Technical background – BSc or equivalent in a computing, engineering or science discipline with strong relevant experience in IT.
  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML and CSS.
  • Experience with React and Redux.
  • Experience with RESTful APIs.
  • Experience with PostgreSQL.
